5. I’m saved & baptized, now what? With birth must come growth. It is impossible to be a good soldier without having gone through the training in boot camp. Likewise, in order to be a profitable, well equipped soldier of the Lord, you must be a part of a healthy, well balanced, Bible-believing church. Christ said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth (much fruit): for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5) It is imperative for a Christian to be attending a church where they can be encouraged, equipped, and edified to impact a lost and dying world for Christ. (Heb 10:26)
