2. What is baptism?Baptism is a believer’s first act of obedience after he/she has come to faith in Christ. It is never before. According to 1 Peter 3:21 baptism does not take away the sins of the flesh “...but the answer of a good conscience toward God, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” If you have been truly born again you should be baptized by immersion in a good, Bible-believing church and then serve there till the Lord returns. (Matt 28:19-20; Acts 8:36-38)
