Because of these
undeniable facts it is imperative that mankind realize that they are
without hope in this world without Christ as their redeemer. This concept
of redemption (or buying back) is referred to as salvation in sacred
scripture and is the central message of the New Testament. The Bible
makes it clear that man cannot and will not save himself (Romans 3:10,
23) and that salvation is not attained by “good works” or
in what you can do to “clean up” your own life. (Eph 2:8-9,
Titus 3:5) Jesus Christ makes it very clear in John 3:3 where He states, “Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God.” You have been born once, physically, but have
you been born again, spiritually? (John 3:4-7) |
